Pooja Hegde teams up with Thalapathy Vijay for filmmaker H Vinoth's highly anticipated project, their second collaboration since 'Beast'. The production house warmly welcomed Pooja aboard the project, which is tentatively titled 'Thalapathy 69' and would serve as Vijay's final film before embarking on a full-time political career.

"Reuniting this lovely couple on the silver screen one more. You might have figured it already, but this is the official greeting to @hegdepooja." The production house announced with a snapshot on social media. In her jubilant declaration, Hegde shouted, "Yasssssss! "Here's to another round of magic with the incomparable Thalapathy @actorvijay ❤️."



Previously, the production house confirmed that Bollywood star Bobby Deol will play the antagonist in the film, his second debut into Tamil cinema following 'Kanguva' opposite Suriya, which is set to release on November 14.

 

According to sources, 'Thalapathy 69' is set against a backdrop of political intrigue, as evidenced by the film's first look poster, which shows Vijay holding a torch under the tagline 'torchbearer of democracy'. Further details about the entire cast and crew are still awaited.
